Community Library

Pinnaroo Community Library is a joint use library for school and community use. The library is located on the school grounds. Membership is free and open to local residents.

Services Offered:

Adult and children's non-fiction and fiction books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and a growing range of e-resources such as e-books and audiobooks, e-magazines, online newspapers, encyclopaedias and family history resource ancestry.com.

The Library has access to collections from other South Australian libraries. SA library customers can now use any public library across SA with a single card, and have access to over 4 million items. Members can borrow and return from any library in the State. For more information visit www.libraries.sa.gov.au.

There are four iPads, four computers with complete Microsoft Office installations and ADSL internet are available for use free of charge, with access to printers, scanners, colour photocopier, fax and laminator for a small charge. The Public Library Service also provides free wireless internet access which is available to all SA library members, and can be used on a range of personal devices both inside and outside the library 24/7

Our Library was entirely refurbished during the Federal Government’s ‘Building the Education Revolution’ in 2012, and continues to provide an excellent meeting venue and usable space for local clubs to facilitate meetings, especially where children may be present, where IT equipment and internet access is required, or simply a comfortable, modern, air conditioned space with kitchen and toilet amenities is optimal.
